William's Story

It’s every parent’s worst nightmare to be told their child will die before them. But for an estimated 25,000 families across the UK, this is a reality. Children’s hospice services help these families to deal with the emotional and physical challenges they face and to make the most of life. The wide range of support available includes welcoming the whole family for a break in friendly, homely surroundings and providing practical help in people’s own homes.
Santas on the Run sees children’s hospices throughout the UK and Children's Hospices UK working together to raise awareness and much needed funds at this important family time.
